Big Buffalo 50 is a different kind of race… a race for a purpose. For every mile completed by a registered runner, Big Buffalo 50 will donate $1 to the Kids Kickin’ Cancer Soccer Club, which is dedicated to providing a positive environment for kids battling childhood cancers.
Kids Kickin’ Cancer teaches team members the value of a positive attitude, self-belief and the ability to encourage — and be encouraged by — other kids facing the same circumstances.

Participants and Teams are encouraged to bring tents and to tailgate all afternoon. Come help create and be a part of a rocking good time!
On Friday night (Mar 15), join us for a panel discussion and dinner party. You’ll hear from two fantastic special guests – entrepreneur, Ultra Endurance athlete, “Fitlanthropist” and author Jesse Itzler and the amazing CEO of the largest water charity in the world, charity: water founder Scott Harrison.
Bigger and better swag bags this year, including FREE copies of Jesse Itzler’s New York Time’s Best Seller, Living With A Seal, and Scott Harrison’s New York Time’s Best Seller, Thirst. Additionally, all runners who join us for Friday night’s Packet Pick-up and Dinner will have the chance to get their books signed!
The winner of each race will have a water project built in their name, which will bring fresh, clean water to THOUSANDS of people in need.
All runners who finish the 50 Mile and 50k events will receive a Finisher Belt Buckle, and all runners who finish the 50k Relay race will receive a Finisher Medal.
At 4,500 acres, Shelby Farms Park is one of the largest urban parks in the country. Located in Memphis, Tennessee, the Park is both a vibrant community hub and a retreat from the hustle and bustle of urban life. .
